Welcome to Alex Ashton Art. By browsing this website, placing an order, or commissioning artwork, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General Provisions

  • This website is operated by Alex Ashton Art.

  • Throughout the site, the terms “I”, “me”, “my”, and “the business” refer to Alex Ashton Art.

  • I reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website following changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Intellectual Property & Copyright Notice

  • Copyright Ownership: Purchasing a physical original painting, print, or custom commission does NOT transfer copyright, reproduction rights, or licensing rights to the buyer.

  • All intellectual property rights in all artworks, designs, images, and content on this website remain exclusively with Alex Ashton Art.

  • Prohibited Uses: Buyers may not scan, reproduce, duplicate, resell, print, or create derivative works from any artwork without explicit prior written permission.

  • Portfolio Rights: Alex Ashton Art retains the right to create prints of original pieces and display images of all completed works (including custom commissions) on website portfolios, social media platforms, and promotional materials.

3. Products & Display Accuracy

  • Every effort is made to accurately display the colors, textures, and details of artworks online. However, because monitor settings and screen displays vary, actual physical artwork colors may differ slightly from what appears on your screen.

  • Dimensions and material descriptions are provided as accurately as possible in product listings.

4. Pricing & Payment

​

  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) unless specified otherwise.

  • Full payment must be received and cleared before orders are processed, framed, or dispatched.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Price adjustments will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

5. Custom Commissions

​

  • Custom artwork and bespoke commissions require an agreed deposit (or full payment) prior to work commencing.

  • Specific completion timelines, design proofs, and approval steps will be outlined in your individual commission agreement.
